Ashes to Art

This past month, I have had the pleasure of working with Alex Kormann on producing a short documentary on Caroline’s Armijo and her work. Caroline, an advocate against coal ash, has been awarded the National Creative Placemaking Fund and will be producing the Lilies Project, an initiative that uses coal ash to create art. Ashes to Art is part of a larger initiative called uNCovered, exploring environmental issues in North Carolina, and will be officially released in May.
